Beckmann重排反应

肟在酸催化下重排得到酰胺的反应。各种强质子酸，路易斯酸和各种能与肟羟基形成好的离去基团的化合物（如TsCl，PCl5，TCT等）都可以引发反应。
此反应与Hofmann重排，Schmidt反应和Curtius重排类似，反应中会形成带正电的氮原子, 会发生烷基迁移。


反应机理

一、质子酸催化机理

肟顺反异构的互变有很高的能垒，反应中首先肟的氧原子质子化，处在反位的烷基迁移到氮原子上，与此同时N-O键断裂，脱水，进而形成氮正离子中间体，加一分子水，脱质子，异构化得到酰胺。


二、PCl5催化

机理类似，磷氧化物作为离去基团，引发重排。

底物的离去基团都是反式迁移。

Ernst Otto Beckmann (1853-1923) 生于德国索伦根，在莱比锡大学学习化学和药学。除了Beckmann反应，他还发明了Beckmann温度计，是一种可准确到0.001℃的示差温度计，可用于通过凝固点法和沸点法测量分子量。
